2. How you opt in
No one is signed up for texts automatically, and texts are never a condition of using CareBill Ally or of any purchase. There are two separate ways to opt in, and each is your own choice.
Case update texts
- Create an account on the CareBill Ally website and sign in with two-step sign-in.
- Open Settings. Under About you, enter your mobile phone number and choose Save.
- Under Your choices about your information, tick the box "Text me when something needs my attention." The box is never ticked for you.
- We send one text confirming that you are subscribed. We keep a record of the exact words you agreed to, the date and time, and the phone number.
This is what the opt-in looks like in the website and the app:
Example (this picture is not a form)
Phone number (optional)
We use this only to send you updates you asked for.
I agree to receive automated text messages from CareBill Ally (operated by Roy Digital Ventures LLC) at the mobile number in my profile about updates, tasks and deadlines in my CareBill Ally cases. Texts never include bill or health details. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of using CareBill Ally or of any purchase.
Texts go to the mobile number in your profile. See the Text Message Program, Terms and Privacy Policy.
Sign-in codes by text
When you set up two-step sign-in, you can choose Text message codes and enter your mobile number. The screen says that by choosing "Text me a code" you agree to receive one-time sign-in codes from CareBill Ally at that number whenever you sign in or ask for a code, that message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply HELP or STOP. You can switch to an authenticator app or a passkey at any time. Because STOP blocks all texts from our number, sign-in codes stop too, so choose another sign-in method first.

4. Keywords
STOP
Stops all texts to your number right away. Also: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT, PARAR.HELP
Sends our contact details. Also: INFO, AYUDA.START
Turns texts back on after STOP. Also: UNSTOP.
STOP turns off texts only. It does not stop work on your case and does not withdraw a Case Assistance Authorization. You can also opt out by turning texts off in Settings, by calling or emailing us, or in any other reasonable way. We honor STOP immediately and other requests promptly, and always within the time the law allows. Our texting number cannot discuss your case; please sign in instead.
5. What texts never include
- Bill amounts, balances or claim details.
- Account, member, claim or Social Security numbers.
- Names of hospitals, doctors, conditions, treatments, or any other health information.
- Links to sign in that ask for your password, or requests for payment. We will never ask for your password or a sign-in code.
6. Timing and changed numbers
Routine texts are held during your quiet hours (8 p.m. to 9 a.m. your time unless you change them) or grouped into the summary you chose. Deadline reminders, account security messages and privacy-request notices can be sent outside those hours, and sign-in codes are sent whenever you ask for one. If you change or give up your mobile number, please update it in Settings. We stop texting a number we learn has been given to someone else. Texts also pause if you have not confirmed your number in the last 12 months; turning texts on again in Settings confirms it.
7. Privacy of your mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number and message content only with the companies that deliver our messages (our messaging provider, Twilio, and the mobile carriers), and only to deliver them.
Read the full Privacy Policy, the Text Message, Voice and Automated Call Consent, and the Terms and Conditions.
8. Automated calls to organizations
Separately from texts to you, CareBill Ally can place automated, AI-assisted phone calls and send emails to hospitals, insurers and similar organizations only when you sign a Case Assistance Authorization for that case. The assistant calls verified business lines only, says at the start that it is an automated assistant calling for CareBill Ally (ROY DIGITAL VENTURES LLC) on a patient's behalf, gives our callback number, never pretends to be you, and never calls for marketing. A call is recorded only if everyone on the line agrees. See the Call Recording and Transcription Notice and the AI and Automation Transparency Notice.
